Easy To Know

This is the official homepage for Easy To Know, a free Android app. It started as a fast local file-transfer app and is now an all-in-one toolkit: file sharing, mission alarms, weather, speed test, a free VPN, clipboard and notification history, device activity, storage and app tools, and more — all in a single app for Android 8.0 and newer.

The file-sharing tool creates a temporary WiFi hotspot on the sending device and shares the connection details as a QR code. The receiving device scans the code to connect instantly, and the transfer happens directly between the two phones at local WiFi speed — no mobile data or internet connection needed.

What This App Does:

• Send any file — photos, videos, documents, or apps — directly to another Android phone over local WiFi, with no internet, cables, or file size limits.
• Connect instantly by scanning a QR code, with no pairing codes to type.
• Wake up with missions: chain up to 5 of 10 wake-up missions (math, color tiles, typing, shake, QR/barcode, steps, squats, photo, household item hunt, say the word) with custom sounds, gentle wake-up, snooze limits and spoken time/weather reminders.
• Check live weather — current conditions, a 24-hour temperature curve, 7-day forecast, air quality, wind, UV, and sunrise/sunset.
• Run a network speed test — download, upload, ping and jitter, with your last 10 results saved.
• Connect to a free VPN (Cloudflare WARP over WireGuard) with no account or subscription.
• Keep a searchable clipboard history with pinning, retention control and automatic OTP skipping.
• Review notifications you swiped away with Notification History.
• See a timeline of screen on/off, unlocks and app opens, plus per-app usage time and open counts.
• Track what happens inside the app itself with a 24-hour Activity Log, including every permission change.
• View full device info — CPU, RAM, storage, battery health, display and sensors — and see live Device Health rings on the home screen.
• Analyze storage with an animated chart and browse every folder with the built-in File Browser.
• Review installed apps, check their permissions and info, and jump to uninstall.
• Convert images between JPEG, PNG and WEBP, and look up your public IP and network details.
• Sign in with Google if you like, or simply continue as a guest — no tool requires an account.

Tools Included in the App:

• File Sharing (S/R Files) — send and receive files between two phones over a local WiFi hotspot, at full local-network speed.
• Time (Alarms) — mission-based alarms with 10 mission types, custom ringtone, vibration, volume, gentle fade-in, extra-loud mode, snooze limits, wallpaper and weekday repeat. Alarms are re-armed after a reboot.
• Weather — current conditions, hourly curve, 7-day forecast, air quality, UV, pressure, visibility and sun times, powered by Open-Meteo.
• Speed Test — ping, jitter, download and upload with an animated gauge and Recent Tests history.
• Free VPN — Cloudflare WARP over a real WireGuard tunnel, with live speed and connected time.
• IP Info — public IP, approximate location, ISP/ASN, timezone and connection type.
• Clip Manager — clipboard history with pins, retention (1 / 7 / 30 days or forever) and OTP skipping. Needs the Clip Manager accessibility service.
• Notification History — keeps notifications after they are dismissed. Needs Notification access.
• Device Activity & App Usage — screen and app timeline, plus total time, last opened/closed and open count for your top 50 apps. Needs the Device Activity accessibility service.
• App Activity Log — a 24-hour local diary of tools opened, permission changes, sign-ins and alarms.
• Device Info — hardware and software specs with one-tap copy.
• File Manager & File Browser — storage breakdown by Apps, Images, Videos, Audio, Documents and System, plus full folder browsing.
• Apps Manager — installed apps, permissions, app info and uninstall shortcut.
• Media Converter — JPEG, PNG and WEBP conversion with a quality slider, saved to Pictures/EasyToKnow.
• Terminal — built-in terminal and code editor screen.

Your Data Stays on Your Phone:

Clipboard history, notification history, device activity, app usage and the activity log are stored only in the app's private storage on your device and are never uploaded. Special access (accessibility, notification access, all files access) can only be turned on by you from Android Settings, and every tool works independently of the others. Some tools call free public services — Open-Meteo (weather), ipinfo.io (IP details) and Cloudflare (speed test and VPN) — as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Who It's For:

Anyone who wants one no-clutter app for everyday phone tasks — moving files without mobile data, waking up on time, checking the weather, testing their connection, browsing with more privacy, and keeping an eye on their apps, storage and device activity.

How File Sharing Works:

• Open S/R Files on both phones (signing in is optional).
• On the sending phone, tap Send and choose a file.
• A QR code appears — scan it from the receiving phone's Receive tab.
• The two devices connect automatically over WiFi, and the transfer begins.
• The received file is saved to the EasyToKnow folder in Downloads.

Every other tool is available from the app's home screen and works independently of file sharing.
