These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Easy To Know ("Easy To Know", "we", "our", "the app") governing your access to and use of the app, an all-in-one Android toolkit that includes file sharing, weather, a network speed test, alarms, device and app info tools, a storage analyzer, a media converter, an IP lookup tool, and a free VPN. By downloading, signing in to, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and capable of forming a binding contract to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Using the App
Easy To Know bundles several independent tools into one app, including:
- File Sharing — sends and receives files directly between Android devices over a local WiFi connection created by the app.
- Weather & Speed Test — retrieve results from free, third-party public services (see our Privacy Policy for details).
- Alarms, Device Info, Apps Manager, Storage Analyzer, Media Converter, and IP Info — operate locally on your device.
- Free VPN — routes your device's internet traffic through a third-party VPN network when you choose to enable it.
You must sign in with a Google account and grant the specific permissions the app requests, as described in our Privacy Policy. The app is an independent, third-party tool and is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with Google, Cloudflare, Open-Meteo, or any other third-party service beyond its use of their public services as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google account credentials
- All activity that happens through the app while signed in to your account
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account, to the extent it relates to the app
4. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal use. This license does not permit you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer the app, except where prohibited by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to:
- Transfer, access, or route content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, or otherwise violates the rights of others
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt another person's device
- Attempt to access another user's device or data without authorization
- Use the Free VPN feature for any illegal purpose, to evade law enforcement, or to violate the acceptable-use terms of the underlying VPN network provider
- Reverse-engineer, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the app
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the app outside of normal use
6. File Transfers & Content Responsibility
Easy To Know only provides the technical means for two devices to transfer files directly over a local WiFi connection, and the technical means for other tools (Weather, Speed Test, IP Info, Free VPN) to reach their respective third-party services. We do not review, monitor, or store the content of any files transferred, or the content of any traffic routed through the Free VPN. You are solely responsible for the files you send and receive, for how you use the Free VPN, and for ensuring you have the right to share any content involved.
7. The Free VPN Feature
The Free VPN tool routes your device's internet traffic through a third-party VPN network (Cloudflare WARP), as described in our Privacy Policy. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that:
- Your traffic while connected is subject to the terms and acceptable-use policy of the underlying VPN network provider, in addition to these Terms
- We do not guarantee any particular level of speed, uptime, or server availability for the VPN feature, as it depends on a third-party network outside our control
- The VPN feature is provided for general privacy purposes and should not be relied upon for activities requiring guaranteed anonymity or security
8. Accuracy of Weather, Speed Test & Alarms
Weather forecasts and speed test results are provided by third-party services and are estimates only — we do not guarantee their accuracy, and you should not rely on them for safety-critical decisions. Alarms depend on your device's operating system correctly waking the app at the scheduled time (including battery-optimization and Do-Not-Disturb settings on your device); we do not guarantee an alarm will ring under all circumstances, and you should not rely on the app as your sole means of waking up for time-critical events.
9. Intellectual Property
The app's design, code, logo, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.
10. Third-Party Services
The app relies on the following third-party services to function: Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication (account sign-in), Cloudflare (Free VPN and Speed Test), and Open-Meteo (Weather). Your use of these services through the app is also governed by each provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for outages, rate limits, or changes in any third-party service that may affect the app's functionality.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the app available and working correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. File transfer speed and reliability depend on your device's hardware and local WiFi conditions; Weather, Speed Test, IP Info, and Free VPN results depend on third-party services and your internet connection — all of which are outside our control. Features may change, be modified, suspended, or discontinued over time, with or without notice.
12. Disclaimer / No Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from use of the app — including loss of files during transfer, missed alarms, inaccurate weather or speed-test results, VPN connectivity issues, or device damage.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party in connection with files you transfer or content you access through the Free VPN.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. You may stop using the app and request deletion of your data at any time by signing out and revoking the app's access from your Google Account settings, or by emailing us below.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us before pursuing formal proceedings.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
